ISO 14001 certification is based on the international standards outlined by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). It is primarily concerned with Environmental Management Systems. This certification is awarded to companies that consciously reduce harmful effects on the environment in their activities.
In 2007, Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was awarded the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 Occupational, Health and Safety Management System certifications.
In 2019, Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has upgraded from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001 Occupational, Health and Safety Management System certifications.
ISO 9001 certification specifies the requirements for Quality Management Systems. It promotes the adoption of a process approach when developing, implementing and improving the effectiveness of a Quality Management System.
An organization conforming to this standard will have a structured management system which helps it to consistently meet customer and regulatory requirements and achieve continual improvement of its processes.
Canon Marketing (Malaysia) first gained recognition with the MS 9002:1994 certificate in year 2000 by displaying international standard quality in its operations and administration.
