CPS membership is for full time professional photographers who:
     
1.
   Own 1 unit or more of Canon Professional EOS SLR Body*AND 2 L series lens or more (equipments should be officially imported by Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS



A completed application form (the “Application Form”) for membership of the Canon Professional Services Scheme (“CPS Scheme”), and all applicable documents for membership to the CPS Scheme (“CPS Membership”) are to be submitted to CMMSB as soon as possible.

The minimum requirements for acceptance as a member of the CPS scheme are as follows: -

1.
   Own 1 unit or more of Canon Professional EOS SLR Body*AND 2 L series lens or more (equipments should be officially imported by Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd)
     
2.
   A professional photographer who earns 100% of his income from photography
     
3.
   Comply with the terms & conditions of membership of the Canon Professional Services (“CPS”) Scheme (“CPS membership”).
     
4.
   CMMSB may at its sole discretion, decide whether or not to accept the application for CPS Membership.
If CMMSB approves your application for CPS Membership, your CPS membership will be subjected to the terms and conditions (“the conditions”) which may be amended from time to time by CMMSB sole discretion.
     
5.
Your CPS membership will commence from the date of issuance of your CPS membership card (the “CPS membership Card”) and will be valid for a period of two years. Thereafter, your CPS card is renewable upon a submission of the renewal application form. CMMSB may also terminate your membership at any time by giving you a written notice of termination
       
6.
   The CPS card shall, at all times, remain as the property of CMMSB.
     
7.
   You must keep the CPS Card safe and secure at all times whilst in your possession and to promptly report any loss or theft of the CPS card to CMMSB.
     
8.
   You are to return the CPS Card to CMMSB upon termination of your CPS membership.
     
9.
   CMMSB reserves the right to charge you a reasonable fee of RM10 for the replacement of your CPS card.
     
10.
   The benefits provided to you in respect of your CPS Membership will at all times be at the sole discretion of CMMSB.
     
11.
   The benefits extended to you under CPS scheme are subjected to following conditions:
   
a)
 you shall not assign to or transfer your benefits to another party without the prior consent of CMMSB.
   
b)
 you shall only enjoy the benefits upon producing the CPS card to CMMSB representatives identifying the individual or such other personal identification as CMMSB may require at its sole discretion.
   
c)
 will only be applicable to the Canon brand of professional products.
       
12.
   Any change in the details of your Application form must be promptly notified by you to CMMSB.
       
13.
   The membership card shall be delivered by post or by self collection. However CMMSB shall not be responsible for the loss in transit of the membership card delivered by post. Neither shall CMMSB be liable for any damages caused to you or any third party arising directly or indirectly from the usage of the CPS card.
       
14.
   CMMSB has the right to use the personal detail supplied by you for the purpose of:
    a) maintaining CMMSB’s records relating to you and your purchase of CMMSB products.
    b) facilitating CMMSB benefits to you under the CPS scheme.
    c) sending you information relating to CMMSB products and other CMMSB advertising and promotional materials.
       
15.
   Personal data held by CMMSB relating to you will be kept confidential, but such information may be provided to:
  a) the parent company or any other company forming part of the CMMSB group; and/or
  b) all the dealers/distributors of CMMSB.
     
16.
   You have the right to:
 
a)
 Access any of your personal data held by CMMSB to check its accuracy; and
 
b)
 Ascertain CMMSB ’s Policies and Practices in relation to personal data privacy. CMMSB reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee of RMYYYY for the processing of any personal data access.
       
17.

18.
   These Conditions shall be construed and governed by the law of Malaysia.
