Generally it helps a lot because it’s an AIO. So once you plug it in it’s ready to work and there’s not much to manage. In those days we didn’t want to get an AIO because we were scared it would break down, but now with Canon’s reliability, we don’t have to worry any longer about getting an AIO instead. We also had doubts about AIOs last time for their quality, but now we can see Canon’s monochrome Laser technology is really good that it’s impressed us to get this instead.

| So far I have no problems with this MFP actually. If a papergets jammed it’s so easy to remove it via the back cover and it just comes out like that, as compared to a copier which is so troublesome. So actually it’s very easy to use. It’s also easy to know where to connect what. |

We deal with a lot of materials with graphics, designs and colours to circulate product information to our sales team but with a photocopy machine, you know colours will come out blurred. So we have to do colour copies and this incurs extra cost to us. This is where this MFP comes out a winner because it’s very clear and it saves us on expenditures.

I do notice that when I’m not using it, it will automatically go into a sleep mode so this is a very good aspect as I don’t even have to monitor it for it to automatically conserve energy. As for the speed, when I first got it, I was thinking it looks so big it’s probably just as slow but it really surprised me with its speed. I didn’t expect it to be so fast! I really liked its IC copy process – it’s not only easy, it’s also very clear! Everyone was surprised because it’s better than even the copier!

An MFP is very useful to us as we don’t need to have separate machines to do different tasks, and nor do we have to go to the photocopy shop, which for the SS2 branch, is actually quite a distance away. It also saves space as we have limited space on our counter.

I find the speed to be quite fast, as well as the clarity too. The quality is good. It has simple commands so it’s not too complicated to use it.

It’s surprisingly not bad for a monochrome Laser printer. At one glace you really don’t think it looks or performs as such but it’s really a Laser printer in there and it really performs up to par, but with the benefit of being flexible by being an all- in-one machine. For power savings, we usually just turn it off, but what’s good is that we can turn it on and it’s quickly ready to be used. So even with or without its energy savings, it still delivers when it comes to being ready for work.
